Brunello di Montalcino 2010

Brunello di Montalcino is a red Italian wine that has been produced in the vineyards around the town of Montalcino which is a little south of Florence, Tuscany. The word Brunello stems from Bruno, meaning brown. The name was given by locals to what was believed to be an individual grape variety grown in Montalcino.

This particular Brunello is an unforgiving and strong structured wine with an embodiment of grilled meat, granite, dried berry and flower petals. This is a full bodied wine with intense and chewy qualities. Its long and intense structure will only get better with time!
